Get to know Haydn
Haydn’s background working within primary schools, began at the age of Eighteen where he spent three years teaching at Bourton Meadow Academy as a PE Sports Coach. Within the first year of employment, completing Giles Prout’s BMA PE Development program enabled him to plan and teach PE lessons to 900 students aged between 3 to 13 years old, as well as teaching PE to children at George Grenville Academy 2 days a week. BMA then gave Haydn the opportunity to develop his skill set and complete a Level 3 Diploma in specialist support for teaching and learning in schools (QCF) and Advanced level apprenticeship in supporting teaching and learning in schools.
After three years working at BMA Haydn was headhunted to develop a football program in America, where he became the head coach of multiple football teams both male and female aged 5-19, as well as designing and managing holiday camps with over 100 children attending multiple sessions across America. Whilst in Abroad the opportunity arose to complete a full-time distanced degree at the University of South Wales, studying BSC in Football Coaching, Development and Administration, achieving a First-Class Honours. As Haydn’s final student visa expired he returned to England and completed a UEFA B Qualification in coaching football and became a Primary School Settings Manager, managing Grendon Underwood’s breakfast club and wraparound care as well as teaching PE at both Grendon Underwood, Buckingham Primary School and Padbury C of E Primary where he took the role as a PE Coordinator.
