Get to know Ashley

Ashley started his career as a playworker assistant at George Grenville Academy. Employed by Lucy Berry and Emma Killick at the age of 18. Ashley then took a role as a teaching assistant under Emma Killick and completed his level 3 teaching assistant diploma and then went on to complete his Higher Level Teaching Assistant course through George Grenville this is a role he carried out for 5 years. He was employed as an unqualified teacher, sports co-ordinator and wraparound care lead by George Grenville Academy. His main responsibilities were to plan and organise the teaching and delivering of the PE curriculum within the school from nursery to year 6 while also running the sports provision after school. 

 

Ashley was then headhunted by local company to become their Area manager. Looking after 8 wraparound care provisions and 3 holiday camps. His main responsibilities were to register the clubs with Ofsted and make sure each setting reached the EYFS required standards. He also made the blue print of how each setting and club should operate.  During this time Ashley successfully led his team through 3 Ofsted inspections passing with no improvements needed each time.
